TURISM AND SPORTS 8 Kms away, the leisure center fo St Evroult Notre Dame du Bois offers watersports, a beach, a tennis-court, a mini golf, fishing or walking along marked paths. Le Manoir is 17 Kms from L'Aigle. You will find one of the oldest markets, the third biggest in France. You can go on a tour of the city on foot, cycle or drive around the countryside and you will discover the many sights of the region. Close by, le Haras du Pin presents its stallions every thursday during the season from june to september. You can also discover "La route du Camembert", many parks and gardens and "La route historique des Ducs de Normandie". Au Manoir, you can find large scale maps for your walks or rides (possibility of hiring bicycles on the spot). Whether you are a novice or an experienced rider, you can practice riding at the riding school on the same site as the hotel-restaurant. From Le Manoir, you can go to Le Mont St Michel in the day-time or simply one hour away go swimming in Deauville. |
